Scouting Ministry Grows at St. Matthews UMC

The scouting Ministry of St. Matthews is excited to announce the chartering
of three scouting units: Cub Scout Pack 201, Boy Scout Troop 201, and Venturing Crew 201. These new units will be successful with the help and support of their chartering organization, St. Matthews UMC. We want to encourage the congregation to help us to enlist new scouts. The Cub Scout Unit and the Boy Scout Unit are for boys ages 6 to 18. The Venturing Crew unit is for young men and ladies ages 14 to 20. All of these scouting units will be opportunities for young people to learn life lessons, leadership and build their faith. If you know a youth that would benefit from these opportunities please contact a Unit Representative such as Dave Cole for Cub Scouts, Wayne Whaley for Boy Scouts, Allen Boliek for Venturing, Don Davis for all three units or anyone involved in the ministry for registration materials.
